Privacy Policy (FE Tracking)

FE Tracking and the associated WordPress website do not collect any personal information.

What information do we collect?

Anonymous Usage History

This information is strictly limited to the history of the user's activities with our application and the associated Fast-Events WordPress plugin on the server. It does NOT include any personally identifiable information (PII).

Location

FE Tracking monitors the passage of checkpoints along a sporting event route. When the phone passes a checkpoint, the date and time are stored in the FE Tracking database and sent to the event organiser's server. This happens even when the application is closed and running in the background, if the user has enabled recording/tracking for the specified route. Tracking is only possible during the time window specified by the event organiser..

It is possible to turn off the "Always Allow" location permission. This means that FE Tracking will only work with tracking when the screen is on and will not work when the screen is off. This has a serious impact on battery life and is therefore strongly discouraged.
